July 2016, at Fab Lab Berlin, we are having a friday night barbecue, celebrating the end of my residency program for the making of the HACKberry hand.
While having 1.5 L beers and tasty grilled German sausages, Eitan Reiger, an artist working at Fab Lab appears and try out an helix he made himself for the Nowhere festival in Spain (equivalent of Burning Man).
We are all around him, excited about trying his invention and going crazy when we realize the helix actually turns when walking while holding it.
While the sky gets dark and the bottles empty, we start talking about the genius Inspecteur Gadget who had a screwdriver finger a flying hat and a smart phone !!! (we were in the 80’s kids).
We met the following day to do something similar with our hands, heart & spirit 🙂
